Hi,
Can someone please explain this for me?
“The highest level at which you may plan this flight without entering controlled airspace is” A080.
Should it be A085 because it is asking for the highest cruise level without entering controlled airspace?

Hi Aljane, great question. For public context, the question being referred to is:
“Refer to ERC–L2. You are to operate an IFR air transport flight from Echuca (YECH) to Ballarat (YBLT) via route W657. The highest level that you may plan this flight without entering controlled airspace is….”
Yes, whilst the Class E airspace does not commence till 8,500 feet, you must plan according to the tables in the AIP. Have a look at AIP ENR 1.7 para 3.1. Hope this helps!
