Hey David, that’s a solid pathway. Start with your RPL, then add the Navigation Endorsement to go cross-country before moving on to PPL. Do you already have your RPL or are you just starting out?

Hi Jonty, I did not hold anything so far unfortunately. I didn’t even have a chance to do solo. I actually gone through PPL theory course during my university, but COVID hit, so that actually paused everything. I did the theory exam before with university but not with CASA. So I just want to use this opportunity to catch this one up.

Awesome to hear you’ve already tackled some theory! Best move now is to hit the books for your RPL and chat with a few local schools. Line up a trial flight (TIF) and start flying, it’s the perfect way to see what they’re like before locking in anything beyond the RPL.
